Practice & Training Standards
Championship practices start with championship preparation.
Pre-Practice Requirements
- Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled practice time.
- Wear Davis All-Stars branded coaching attire (required).
- Review the practice plan and skill progression goals.
- Ensure all equipment and mats are prepared and safety-checked.
- Have music, choreography notes, and training aids ready.
- Phone silenced and stored — allowed only for emergencies.
Post-Practice Responsibilities
- Store all equipment properly and clean the mats.
- Sweep and organize the training area.
- Turn off all lights and secure all doors.
- Document skill progression notes.
- Address any parent or athlete questions before leaving.
- Communicate with coaching staff regarding any concerns or updates.
Non-Negotiable
The gym must be left cleaner than you found it. This is not optional — it reflects our championship culture and respect for the facility.

Professional Boundaries
- Maintain appropriate coach-athlete relationships at all times.
- No private social media connections with athletes (Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.).
- All athlete communication must be professional and gym-related.
- Never be alone with an athlete in a closed space — keep doors open and visibility maintained.
Social Media & Public Conduct
- Your social media presence is a reflection of Davis All-Stars — post accordingly.
- No negative posts about other gyms, coaches, judges, or athletes.
- No profanity, inappropriate content, or unprofessional behavior online.
- Represent the gym with integrity in all public settings.
